Chris Brown breaks up fight between Diddy’s sons and Ray J

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ three adult sons nearly brawled with family friend Ray J at a Halloween party over the weekend, only for Chris Brown to break up the would-be altercation.
No one was injured when Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, and Christian, 26, approached the 43-year-old “Sexy Can I” singer toward the end of Unruly Agency‘s celeb-studded bash, according to TMZ.
The men were allegedly “getting in each other’s faces and chest-bumping one another” over comments Ray J has made in the wake of Combs’ arrest on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Insiders say Justin and Christian made it clear their desire to come to blows with Ray J when Brown, 35, and Ray J’s manager, David Weintraub, intervened and pulled the Combs brothers away.
Sources say this wasn’t the first time Diddy’s sons have tried fighting Ray J over his remarks, specifically saying he believed allegations made by Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight. Knight in September said Diddy participated in widespread abuse and assault alongside other higher-ups in the industry.
Combs, 54, is currently in custody at Brooklyn’s infamous Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial on the federal charges.
Combs’ current legal woes kicked off last fall when ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed a blockbuster lawsuit accusing him of rape, sex trafficking and years of abuse. Though they settled the suit the following day, complaints containing similarly disturbing allegations have only been filed in quicker succession since.
Homeland Security raided Combs’ properties in March as part of the federal sex trafficking investigation.
The court of public opinion further turned on Combs when, in mid-May, CNN published security footage of him beating Ventura, now 38, in a hotel hallway in 2016 — an incident for which Combs apologized. He has denied the other allegations against him.
In April, Ray J said he believed many of Combs’ other famous friends were staying quiet as they were “just trying to understand … what is, what’s not.”
Last week, he attributed the silence to “people hurting … because everybody makes mistakes. Everything’s forgivable but some things are not.”
Brown, for his part, pleaded guilty in 2009 to felony assault for a brutal attack on Rihanna, who he was dating at the time.
